Met Gala 2025: Where to watch red carpet show streaming free, time, TV channel

Get ready for a dazzling display of celebrities dressed to impress as the 2025 Met Gala brings together stars, fashion and celebrations of this year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

The annual Met Gala is a fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum’s of Art Costume Institute. Each year, established celebrities and hot up-and-comers arrive, showing off elaborate clothes that reflect the theme.

“Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” is also the title for the spring exhibition at the costume institute. As a museum statement says, the exhibition “explores the importance of sartorial style to the formation of Black identities.”

Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and Anna Wintour are co-chairs of the Met Gala, and LeBron James is the honorary chair.

As NPR reports, “Superfine” is the first show focused on menswear at the Costume Institute in more than 20 years. The show is guest-curated by Monica Miller, whose 2009 book, “Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity” also serves as inspiration.

To get a glimpse of the arrivals, tune into “E! Live From the Red Carpet: Met Gala 2025″ at 6 p.m. PT/ET, on the E! cable channel, with hosts Zanna Roberts Rassi, Maria Taylor, Elaine Welteroth, Yvonne Orji and fashion designer Christian Siriano. You can also stream the show on Fubo (which offers a free trial) and on Peacock.
