Big Dam Bridge 100 Marks 20th Year in the Metro

Time to limber up and get out the Lycra. The largest cycling tour in Arkansas is back and marking a major milestone.

Celebrating its 20th year, the Big Dam Bridge 100 is slated for Saturday, Sept. 27. The event draws tons of cyclists from across the country every year. Participants have the chance to take on 15-, 26-, 50-, 75- and 105-mile courses, starting in Riverfront Park in North Little Rock, winding down the River Trail, crossing the Big Dam Bridge (of course) and looping through central Arkansas before ending back at the park.

As always, cyclists can celebrate a job well done with food and drinks waiting at the finish line Finale Fest. Organizers are also bringing back the Gears and Beers athlete reception the night before the ride at Dickey-Stephens Park.

For those looking to participate from a distance, there’s also a virtual ride option, as well options for tandem or e-bike riders.

The current registration pricing lasts until May 28 with rates increasing incrementally as we approach the event. To register now (and you should), click here.

You can find all the details for this year’s ride and more on the Big Dam Bridge 100 website. And stay up-to-date by following along on Facebook and Instagram.
