PORTSMOUTH — Police have made an arrest in connection with a homicide investigation after a man was shot and killed Sunday.
Officers arrested 40-year-old Anthony Javvon Debraux, according to the Portsmouth Police Department. He has been charged with second-degree murder, among other counts.
On Sunday, police were dispatched to the 3500 Block of Victory Boulevard, the location of a 7-Eleven near the intersection of Victory Boulevard and Greenwood Drive, after receiving a call about a shooting. First responders found a man, 41-year-old Keith Lomonte Barnes, with a life-threatening gunshot wound and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the investigation remains active. No additional details were immediately available.
