Xeida Arce drove in three RBIs as Science Park claimed its first road victory of 2025, defeating West Side 13-3 in three innings.
Science Park (3-0) opened up the ballgame with five runs in the first inning. West Side (1-2) answered with two in the bottom of the inning, but could not keep Science Park out of the scoresheet, leading to the mercy rule being invoked.
Science Park controlled the tempo of the game on the basepaths, recording 14 stolen bases. It also showed patience at the plate, drawing 12 walks. Rosalind Anderson reached base in all three of her plate appearances, driving in two RBIs.
Science Park will host the next three games on its schedule, starting with a Wednesday afternoon matchup against Newark Tech.
