Cale White scored three goals to lead West Essex to a 5-2 victory over Cranford at Essex County Codey Arena in West Orange.
White opened the scoring in the first period with assists from Joe Weber and Max Clausi, then added two more goals in the third period, including an empty-netter to seal the win. His second goal of the night came with an assist from Silas Levy.
Noah Toral and Zach Hanlon each recorded two points for West Essex (7-8). Hanlon scored in the second period with assists from Toral and Jesse Friedman, while Toral added a goal of his own with an assist from Hanlon to give West Essex a 3-0 lead.
Cranford responded with goals from Ryan Feeley in the second period and Connor McKeon in the third. Evan Ramos assisted Feeley’s goal, while McKeon’s tally came with assists from Jack Mandel and Feeley.
West Essex goalie Dario Gallucci made 29 saves on 31 shots.
Cranford goalie Evan Ramos stopped 31 of 35 shots.
