Chad Ollinger, who appeared on the Discovery Channel show “Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch,” was booked on a murder charge following the Dec. 26 death of his cellmate in a Las Vegas jail, according to the Las Vegas Police Deparment.
The victim was not named, but a release from the department said that he was discovered unresponsive in the cell he shared with Ollinger. The two men reportedly had been in an altercation. The victim showed signs of “blunt force injuries,” according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Ollinger, 41, appeared on the show about supposedly cursed land in Utah along with his father, Duane Ollinger, the owner of the property. His IMDb page states he appeared in 39 episodes between 2021 and 2025.
Chad Ollinger had been in the jail since October, charged as a “fugitive from another state” on previous charges. He also faced a contempt of court charge.
Ollinger was arrested in 2024 on charges of evading arrest and again in February for driving with an invalid license, according to People.
