Varsity Maine football honor roll for Week 3

Noah Allen, Greely: The junior carried the ball 18 times for 124 yards with touchdown runs of 6 and 49 yards in Greely’s 28-21 overtime win over Falmouth. Allen also had one of the Rangers’ four sacks.

Seth Bowden, Nokomis: Ran for 239 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries, and had an interception on defense in the Warriors’ 28-8 win over Brewer.

Joshua Crosby, Maranacook: Had 13 carries for 204 yards and a touchdown, threw a TD pass and had an interception in a 56-34 win over Belfast.

Brady Isabelle, Marshwood: The senior receiver sparked Marshwood’s second-half comeback from a 14-point deficit to beat Gorham, 35-21. His 46-yard reception from Michael Sbrizza set up a touchdown run, and on Marshwood’s next possession, Isabelle turned a short pass into a 69-yard game-tying touchdown.

Darius Johnson, South Portland: The senior receiver caught first-half touchdown passes of 30 and 4 yards, and blocked a punt in the Red Riots 41-0 Class A win against Sanford.

Cordell Jones, Portland: The Bulldogs’ quarterback rushed for 153 yards and three touchdowns, setting Portland High career records for touchdowns (now 51) and points (310). He also completed 7 of 11 passes for 125 yards and one TD in Friday’s 34-0 win at Deering

Sam Matthews, Kennebunk: Completed 18 of 24 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams’ 22-21 overtime win over Cheverus.

Gio Staples, Westbrook: The Blue Blazes’ senior quarterback completed 9 of 10 passes for 193 yards and four touchdowns, and ran for another score in a 55-21 victory over Biddeford.

Troy Tennett, Bangor: Caught three passes for 170 yards, highlighted by TD catches of 85 and 49 yards, in the Rams’ win over Lawrence.

Winslow offensive line: Ibrahim al-Subaihawi, Zane Erickson, Lucas Spencer, Brody Davidson, Ben Thomas, Nick McCann and Noah Harding paved the way for a rushing attack that went for 349 yards in the Black Raiders’ 47-7 win over Freeport.
