Orlando performer Dollya Black has just been announced as a contestant on the upcoming season of all-star drag competition The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans.
This will mark her return to the dark drag underworld of the Boulet Brothers-helmed reality competition. Black had previously been a contestant on Season 3 of Dragula in 2019, where she was runner-up to winner and “Supermonster” Landon Cider.
Aside from Black, 13 other horror- and alt-drag notables — including Evah Destruction, Blackberri, Jade Jolie and Priscilla Chambers — will compete to win the crown of “Queen of the Underworld” and $100,000. The winner of the first season of Dragula: Titans was Orlando’s own Victoria Elizabeth Black.
Some of the confirmed guest judges aiding and abetting the Boulets include Jennifer Tilly, Alice Cooper, Peaches Christ and Todd McFarlane.
Black, a longtime and adventurous Orlando drag artist, came out as a trans woman over the summer. “Been on a journey of discovery that led me to starting hormones almost 6 months ago,” she said on Instagram at the time. “Officially going by She/They pronouns (“She” as in Lady Death, “They” as in an elf iykyk).”
Dragula: Titans Season 2 is set to debut Tuesday, Oct. 7, on Shudder, perfectly timed for spooky season.
