The Ravens lost outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy during Sunday’s home opener against the Browns.
Van Noy, 34, left the game with a hamstring injury in the second quarter and did not return. He was ruled out early in the third quarter.
The veteran led Baltimore in sacks last season with 12 1/2.
How long he’ll be sidelined for remains to be seen. Van Noy had one tackle and a quarterback hit before leaving and has three tackles and no sacks on the season.
The Ravens can also ill afford to be without him for a significant length of time with a pass rush that after Week 1 was near the bottom of the league in pass rush win rate.
