Experience the rich histories and cultures of the American Latino community during a month of festivals for National Hispanic Heritage Month. The month takes place Sept. 15 – Oct. 15 of every year to recognize, honor and celebrate the many contributions and achievements of Hispanic and Latino communities.
Among the festivities, the Little Rock metro will mark Hispanic Heritage Month with three different festivals in the SoMa neighborhood, Argenta Plaza and Plaza Frida. All free and open to the public, these family-friendly festivals will have plenty of fun, delicious food, great entertainment and much more for the whole community to enjoy together.

Fiesta de Independencia Hispana at Plaza Frida
Celebrate the independence of Latin American countries at the fifth annual Fiesta de Independencia Hispana, a Hispanic heritage festival hosted by Plaza Frida. Located in southwest Little Rock at 4001 W. 65th St., Plaza Frida will bring delicious local food, unique vendors, talented artists and performers together for a celebration to remember on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 5-9 p.m. Learn more here.
Hispanic Heritage Festival at Argenta Plaza
As part of the 2025 Acansa Arts Festival of the South, North Little Rock Tourism and nonprofit Seis Puentes are teaming up to bring this Hispanic Heritage Festival celebration to Argenta Plaza on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 4-9 p.m. The event celebrates North Little Rock’s Hispanic community with diverse artists, live music, children’s activities, authentic food and more. Fiesta en SoMa
The third annual Fiesta en SoMa will take place on Friday, Oct. 3, in Little Rock’s SoMa neighborhood. Explore and celebrate the distinct heritage of various Latino countries by delving into the traditions, customs and flavors of nations like Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and more. There will be dancing, live music, art displays, food vendors and activities for kids from 4-9 p.m. Plus, this year’s festival will include the second annual tamale taste-off. Learn more here.
