Downtown Food Truck Festival Finds New Location Under 30 Crossing Bridge

Hungry crowds will have another new backdrop for this year’s Downtown Food Truck Festival.

On Wednesday, the Downtown Little Rock Partnership announced the Sept. 21 festival will move locations to the new green space under the 30 Crossing Bridge. The expanse between President Clinton Avenue and Third Street will also offer some much-needed shade for the late summer street party.

This marks the second move in as many years for the event, with the 2024 fest leaving Main Street for the first time for Capitol Avenue, as well as leaving behind the title of Main Street Food Truck Festival.

DLRP says the change is designed “to highlight the opportunity for revitalization” of the different “focus areas” of its proposed Downtown Little Rock Master Plan, which includes ideas for the new space.

“The [greenspace] opened up by the 30 Crossing Park offers our city an opportunity to create a flagship park in the heart of our downtown,” DLRP’s Kyle Leyenberger says. “This is an opportunity to show tens of thousands of people what this space could be, and we hope it will bring energy and excitement to this project just as the draft plan for a more permanent park is unveiled.”

The festival is a pillar of Little Rock’s annual event calendar and is a major draw for locals and travelers alike — 2025 alone brought in 35,000 — with a packed lineup of food trucks, vendors and live entertainment.

Editor’s note: In June, Little Rock Soirée reported the 2025 Downtown Food Truck Festival would take place on Capitol Avenue. This reflected the latest DLRP information at the time.
