Thea Foundation’s Art Department series returns this week for its third installment of the year. Featured artist Amber Cardinale will showcase her solo exhibition “Unseen Forces.”
An opening reception will be held at the North Little Rock gallery on Thursday, Aug. 7, from 5-7:30 p.m. The exhibit is free to attend and open to the public. Cardinale’s works will be on view in the gallery during normal business hours throughout the month of August.
On her website, Cardinale describes her work as “explorations of the often unseen and unacknowledged nature of reality, spirit and self.” The “Unseen Forces” exhibition draws inspiration from topics of quantum mechanics, mysticism and metaphysical experience. Using vivid colors and symmetrical forms, Cardinale reveals the multidimensional nature of existence that is often hidden.
Cardinale was born in Louisiana, where she holds a BFA from Louisiana Tech University and a MAT from the University of Central Arkansas. She has more than 18 years of teaching experience and currently teaches drawing and AP art and design at Bryant High School.
