A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Montague Township on Tuesday morning, the New Jersey State Police said.
Thomas Brislin, 71, of Port Jervis, New York, was struck on Route 23 south at milepost 51.7 at about 7:20 a.m., the state police said.
Brislin was in the roadway when the collision occurred, authorities said. No other injuries were reported.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing. No additional information was available Tuesday afternoon.
