Join the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium in Roger Williams Park daily in July (starting on Monday, July 7) for Fossil Frenzy Family Fun. From the Coal Age to the Ice Age, the museum’s collection of fossil specimens brings the past to life! Come join in the festivities and see fossilized plants and animals that once roamed the Earth.

Activities include: Displayed fossils from the museum’s vaults, special fossil quest, fossil puzzle and more.

1:00pm: Sky Views Planetarium Show on Monday through Friday
Explore our night sky. Take a tour of the skies and discover the constellations, planets, nebulae and other stunning night sky objects that can be seen in the night sky. Video imagery will bring viewers up close to black holes, star-forming nebulae and more, showing discoveries in astrophysics while instilling a sense of wonder about our universe.
1:00pm: Cosmic Collisions Planetarium Show on Saturday and Sunday
Take a thrilling trip through space and time, well beyond the calm face of the night sky, to explore cosmic collisions, hypersonic impacts that drive the dynamic and continuing evolution of the universe. Show produced by the American Museum of Natural History.
Cost: Planetarium show ticket (includes Museum admission) is $5/Museum Members Free/Children MUST be age 4 and older. Planetarium show tickets must be purchased ONLINE. Choose carefully and then confirm your selection, as all selections/sales are final. For safety reasons, Planetarium ticketholders are not permitted to enter the Planetarium once the show has begun.
