The massive Pulaski Skyway rehabilitation project that started in April 2014 now ranks as New Jersey’s most expensive highway project, at over $1.7 billion spent, and it isn’t done yet.

The northbound Pulaski Skyway closed in 2014 for the start of a badly needed rehab project on the then 80-year-old network of two big bridges and 118 smaller viaducts stretching between Jersey City and Newark.
