Mechanicsville native Jason Mraz will perform in Glen Allen in December, part of the season lineup at the Cultural Arts Center.
Audiences also can expect performances from the Richmond Symphony with swing band Good Shot Judy; Nathan Chester and the Old Souls Motown Revival; and the music of Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline.
Mraz will return home to perform as part of the FreeHorse Arts Songwriters Series, focused on “inclusivity, love, community, and the natural world,” on Dec. 13 and 14. Tickets are $65.
The season also includes new art exhibits throughout the center’s four galleries, including works by local artist Rosalind Koons, Kelly U Johnson, and members of the Metropolitan Richmond Arts Association. All exhibits are family-friendly and free to the public.
The center will also host a Maker’s Yard Sale, and Market Days with the RVA Makers Market, where visitors can meet local artists and makers while shopping for handmade goods.
