It’s been an eventful few days in the local business scene, particularly with some of Little Rock’s beloved institutions. Yesterday we reported the team behind At the Corner and Flora Jean’s is bringing the new concept Cafe Plain Jane to the former Cañon Grill location. Today we have word of even more businesses on the move, including a brand new concept.
Local Lime + ZAZA
This morning Local Lime announced its flagship location at The Promenade at Chenal will move three doors down to the former Bravo space, and a new location for ZAZA Fine Salad & Wood Oven Pizza Co. will move into the vacated Local Lime space.
Local Lime and ZAZA are both part of Yellow Rocket Concepts, a local restaurant group that also includes Big Orange, Lost Forty, Camp Taco and Heights Taco & Tamale Co.
According to Yellow Rocket, the new Local Lime space will allow for more seating, semi-private dining opportunities, better culinary capabilities and “an exciting, vibrant patio space.” It will also feature a fresh look for the 14-year-old restaurant, reflecting the vibe of its newest location in Germantown, Tennessee, pictured at the top of this article.
“This move is more than just a relocation, it’s a recommitment to the community that built Local Lime,” says Amber Brewer, chief marketing officer and creative director for Yellow Rocket. “We’ve grown because of the continued support of our guests and the extraordinary team who brings this brand to life every day. This new flagship is a celebration of that shared success.”
The new Cali-Mex space is slated to open in late 2025. Follow along on Instagram for updates. A timeline for ZAZA, its second location in Little Rock, has yet to be released.

E.Leigh’s
A longtime mainstay of Hillcrest, E.Leigh’s Contemporary Boutique announced it will move “a quarter of a mile up the road” into The Heights neighborhood this fall.
Owner and founder Erin Hohnbaum made the announcement on social media, noting the new space would be an “E.Leigh’s 2.0” with more square footage, more parking and a remodeled look. An exact location, however, was not released.

R & M Coffee Bar & Cafe
Building on the success of their R & M Eatery in Conway, MaryAnn Strange and Ryan Williams are setting their sights on downtown Little Rock, specifically the Pyramid Place building at 221 W. Second St.
The two have announced plans for a restaurant offering all-day brunch that’s “scratch-made, soul-filled and totally extra,” plus craft coffees, live music and bottomless mimosas. They also plan on hosting regular events like karaoke and game nights, with the restaurant shifting at 3 p.m. each day into a more adult-oriented atmosphere.
In recent years, the location has been home to the 2Twenty1 coffee shop and Gallery 221 Original Fine Art.
