SoMa Pride Parade and Festival Comes to South Main

One of Little Rock’s most colorful neighborhoods is about to get even more so.

On Saturday, June 7, the second annual SoMa Pride parade and festival will take over South Main Street beginning at 10:30 a.m. The day is dedicated to inclusivity, love, community and empowerment, with proceeds benefiting local LGBTQ+ organizations.

Stretching down South Main Street, the festival will feature more than 100 vendors and food trucks, a full lineup of live music and a family zone complete with games and activities. There will also be a designated area for grownups with local spirits and even more entertainment.

In perhaps the highlight of the day, the festival will break for the parade, which will fill South Main Street with high-energy marchers, performers and floats, all decked out in their rainbow best.

Saturday’s festivities run from 10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., with the parade taking place at noon. For those looking to start the fun early, the recurring event SoMa After Dark on June 6 will also be Pride-themed.

Neighborhood businesses and organizations are also getting in on the fun, so keep an eye out for themed menus, specials and events at your favorite spots.
