‘Trapped: What Is Happening to Wendy Williams?’ reality special: How to watch, where to stream free

The brand new one-hour special Trapped: What is Happening to Wendy Williams premieres on Investigation Discovery Monday, May 19 at 8/7c.

According to ID, the new special focuses on the former talk show host in a new way. Instead of focusing on Williams’ life and ongoing health challenges, the special delves into the #FreeWendy movement and the current push by Williams’ loved ones and fans to have her released from the guardianship she has been under since 2022.

The official ID trailer released just over a week ago and gives more insight into what viewers can expect from the new special including Williams’ ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, and his cheating allegations and her diagnosis of dementia.
