The festival features nationally recognized and local artists from Birmingham and beyond, shining a spotlight on their work and vision. It also offers a platform for people with disabilities to share their experiences, creating space for deeper understanding, authentic storytelling and community-building.
Plus—it’s a great space for meaningful conversations about health, accessibility and quality of life, all aimed at creating a stronger community across Alabama.

Ali Stroker presented by ASC—April 27
A standout performer at the festival is Tony Award-winning actress Ali Stroker. She was the first actress in a wheelchair to win this prestigious award. Known for breaking barriers on Broadway, Ali strives to challenge limits and inspire others through her work.
In addition to her Broadway performances, Ali has also starred in Echoes on Netflix, appeared in Ozark and co-wrote books like The Chance to Fly and Cut Loose—and performed her one-woman show nationwide.
For her Alys Stephens Center performance, Ali will sing Broadway standards and contemporary hits accompanied by a pianist.

The Secret Sisters with Alabama Symphony Orchestra—April 24
Prepare for an extraordinary night! Country-folk duo The Secret Sisters will join the Alabama Symphony Orchestra for the very first time on April 24.
This popular band includes siblings Lydia Slagle and Laura Rogers. They’re loved for their sharp songwriting, which highlights a deep appreciation for country music’s rich history.
The band’s music is already amazing, but when the Alabama Symphony Orchestra joins them, prepare for a truly phenomenal show.
