You can leave the raincoats and umbrellas at home this morning, at least according to the National Weather Service in Portland.
Wednesday is expected to be mostly cloudy with a light, variable wind and a high around 65 degrees.
The break in the rain will only be temporary, however.
Thursday will be windier, with a 90% chance of rain and as much as a tenth to a quarter of an inch of new precipitation possible.
The high Thursday should be 63 degrees.
Yesterday looks like the start of a pattern: Rain, no rain, rain, no rain, rain. Because Friday will also be dry and Saturday will be wet and Sunday will be dry.
But hang on for Monday, which is currently expected to be sunny with a high of 68 degrees.
Tuesday, of course, the showers are back.
