Cooler temperatures and rain are in the forecast for much of the week in the Baltimore area, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers are expected Sunday after 2 p.m., along with winds predicted to reach 18 mph. Conditions should remain cloudy with a high of 58.
Rain is also projected after 7 p.m. Patchy fog is predicted to set in between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. The low for Sunday night is expected to be around 40.
On Monday, rain is predicted before 11 a.m., followed by more patchy fog before noon. The high is expected to be around 50, with wind speeds ranging from 5 to 7 mph.
A slight chance for showers is forecast Monday evening. Cloud coverage is anticipated to gradually increase throughout the evening, with wind speeds predicted to reach 18 mph. Monday night’s low is expected to be near freezing at 33.
The week’s first day of sunny weather should be Tuesday, but it probably won’t feel like a sunny, spring day due to wind speeds expected to reach 32 mph coupled with a high of only 47.
Conditions are likely to remain clear headed into Tuesday evening, and the temperatures Tuesday night are expected to reach a low of 30.
Wednesday is predicted to be sunny with a high near 53. Partly cloudy conditions are expected to set in Wednesday evening with a projected low around 40.
Thursday, the chance for showers is expected to return. Conditions throughout the day are predicted to be mostly cloudy with a high of 60. That night, showers are anticipated before 2 a.m.
Mostly cloudy conditions are expected to last throughout Thursday evening with a low of 47.
Similar conditions are predicted into Friday with showers remaining likely. Friday’s high is forecast to be around 62.
