This is the competition’s first year, featuring teams that missed out on the NCAA Tournament but opted for the CBC invite over other postseason tournaments like the NIT or CBI.
The inaugural CBC tournament features the Oregon State Beavers, Utah Utes, Butler Bulldogs, Boise State Broncos, GW Colonials, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Arizona State Sun Devils, Georgetown Hoyas, Washington State Cougars, DePaul Blue Demons, Cincinnati Bearcats, UCF Knights, Colorado Buffaloes, Villanova Wildcats, Tulane Green Wave and the USC Trojans.
