Namaste, Little Rock. Dogtown Yoga is bringing its accessible, free yoga classes to Argenta once again this spring.
Now in its fifth year, the practice has partnered with North Little Rock Tourism to offer hour-long classes for participants of all ages, genders and experience levels. The 2025 season kicks off on April 9, and sessions will be held every Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. at the Argenta Plaza.
Dogtown Yoga’s instructors teach a traditional form of yoga known as Hatha yoga, which focuses on breathing techniques (pranayama), physical movements (asana) and meditation (dhyana). Classes are perfect for beginners and those wanting to unwind and recharge. More than that, the series is about going beyond the mat to connect with others in the community.
While it is free to attend, donations are encouraged to allow the series to continue through the fall. It is also encouraged to bring your own mat to practice along with any other props that might be useful. Loaner mats are available upon request via social media or email, and a variety of props will be available should you need them.
