The initial lineup for the 2025 Waking Windows music and arts festival dropped on Thursday. Following the scaled-down model of the past few years, the 13th edition of the fest features a handful of nationally touring acts paired with a bevy of Vermont bands. Waking Windows runs Friday to Sunday, May 2 to 4, at venues throughout downtown Winooski.
Boston indie-rock power trio Palehound and Brooklyn singer-songwriter Cut Worms top the bill, along with Colombian American psych rockers Combo Chimbita and Rhode Island’s Undertow Brass Band.
The Vermont musical contingent includes Rough Francis, Lily Seabird, Swale, A2VT, Wild Leek River and many, many more.
Additional bands and events will be announced leading up to the festival, according to a press release.
Tickets are on sale now at wakingwindows.com. They can also be purchased in person at Autumn Records in Winooski and Pure Pop Records in Burlington.
