Listen up, cool cats. Jazz in the Park is officially back for the 2025 spring season starting this week.
Now in its 12th year, Jazz in the Park is a free concert series held every Wednesday in April in the River Market Pavilions. The family-friendly event takes over the downtown scene twice a year (once in spring, then again in September) and remains a local favorite as it showcases local jazz and R&B talent.
As always, some seating will be provided, but concertgoers are welcome to break out the picnic blankets and lawn chairs for the space, as well as bring their own food. You can also purchase water, soft drinks, beer and wine with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Art Porter Music Education scholarship fund. Just be sure to leave the coolers at home.
Without further ado, here’s the Jazz in the Park spring 2025 lineup:
- April 2 – The Rod P Outfit
- April 9 – Solfude’s Jazz Night Jam Session Band
- April 16 – Jacksonville High School Jazz Band, Little Rock Parkview High School
- Jazz Band and Little Rock Southwest High School Jazz Band
- April 23 – Dino D and the D Train
- April 30 – DeeDee Jones
Shows start at 6 p.m. In case of rain, performances will move indoors to Ottenheimer Hall.
