Taste your way around the metro’s restaurant scene during UA Little Rock’s annual Taste of Little Rock event on Tuesday, April 8. Now in its 20th year, the event will honor entrepreneur, innovator and alumnus RJ Martino for his long-time support and unwavering commitment to UA Little Rock and the community.
“It’s truly humbling to be recognized by UA Little Rock, a place that played such an important role in my life,” Martino says. “The mentorship, education, and opportunities I found here shaped who I am today. This honor is a reminder of how far we can go when supported by a strong community, and I’m deeply grateful to give back to the university that has given me so much.”
Taste of Little Rock will take place on campus at the Jack Stephens Center and feature a delicious lengthy spread with food from some of the city’s best restaurants. All funds raised benefit the UA Little Rock Alumni Association Scholarship Fund, which provides $1,000 to $5,000 annually to recipients.
