“At 3:19 a.m., a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southeast of Red Bay, moving northeast at 35 mph. At 3:15 a.m., quarter size hail was reported in Hodges Alabama,” says the weather service. “Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.”
