Two are in Massachusetts.
Three New England destinations are a masterclass in beauty, according to Conde Nast Traveler.
The travel publication released a list of the 50 most beautiful places in America and included Martha’s Vineyard, the Berkshires, and Acadia National Park in Maine.
“When it comes to choosing the destination for your next domestic trip, several factors may sway your decision, from which cities have the best museums to which neighborhoods are known for their up-and-coming culinary scenes. But sometimes, you simply want to visit somewhere downright beautiful — and that’s where this list comes in,” wrote the publication.
The publication called Martha’s Vineyard a favorite summer escape “lined by rugged Atlantic beaches and dotted with quaint towns.”
“Head to the southwestern tip of the island (locally known as ‘up-island’) for more undeveloped and rural scenery, including dense woods, uncrowded beaches, and fishing villages,” wrote Conde Nast Traveler.
The Berkshires shine during foliage season, wrote the publication, when travelers fill their days with leaf peeping and stays in “cozy” boutique hotels.
“There’s fall foliage, and then there’s Berkshires fall foliage,” wrote the Conde Nast Traveler, noting that the area “comes alive with color during the autumn months, especially along the 63-mile Mohawk Trail.”

Conde Nast Traveler calls Acadia National Park an “essential stop” on any Maine road trip.
“Those photogenic lighthouses and sunrises atop Cadillac Mountain are certainly worth traveling for,” wrote the publication.
Other beautiful spots on the list include Antelope Canyon in Arizona, Big Bend National Park in Texas, and Jekyll Island in Georgia.
