Nike is dropping the new Vomero 18 running shoe, and it’s packed with cushion, comfort and style — here’s when to grab it

Nike is gearing up for a big running shoe drop with the new Vomero 18 and its ultra-cushioned style is just one reason to love the sneaker.

The Vomero 18 Road Running Shoe will drop on Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. EST in men’s, women’s and big kids’ sizes with a variety of color options available.

The men’s Vomero 18 style is available in five vivid colors, including, Electric Green, Geode Teal, Coconut Milk, Siren Red and Dusty Olive, while the women’s Vomero 18 design features four colorways — Elemental Pink, Electric Green, Coconut Milk and Bright Crimson. You can grab the kids’ Vomero 18 in Geode Teal and Bright Crimson.

As a road running shoe, Nike didn’t skimp on comfort, packing the Vomero 18 with the maximum amount of cushioning available. This sneaker is now Nike’s “softest and most cushioned” style yet at 18% softer than the Vomero 17 predecessor.

The Vomero 18 features two layers of cushion: lightweight ZoomX foam and responsive ReactX foam. They are designed to cushion the ride, while making your steps more comfortable for everyday wear and keeping you going that last mile.

The Vomero 18 Running Shoe is also light in weight at 11.5 ounces and breathable with a stretchy mesh upper that also provides support. Plus, the new podular design on the sole combined with a high abrasive rubber to grip the pavement as you run can add stability.

More features of the new sneaker include a padded tongue and collar for more comfort with recycled materials used in the construction of the new style.
