How to Recycle Electronics in Little Rock

So you got some new gadgets over the holidays. Congrats! But once you’re able to peel your eyes off that shiny new toy, you’ll probably start to wonder: What do I do with the old one?

It should come as no surprise that you should definitely keep it out of the trashcan. According to a recent report from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, the world generated approximately 62 million metric tons of electronic waste in 2022 alone.

The good news is that Pulaski County currently has five residential Green Stations that will happily, safely and properly recycle your old household electronics. Here’s a portion of the e-waste they accept:

  • computers (includes monitor, CPU, keyboard, mouse, speakers, wires and cables)
  • televisions
  • game systems, DVD players and VCRs
  • stereos and radios
  • mobile phones and telephones
  • copiers and printers
  • small kitchen appliances (coffee makers, microwaves, mixers, etc.)
  • batteries (AA, AAA, C, D and 9 volt; but no vehicle or rechargeable batteries)

And here’s where to find your local Green Station:
