A longtime favorite among locals, this is one event where you can keep it casual with the whole family while you try delicious soups from area restaurants. We call that a win-win.
Soup Sunday, hosted by Arkansas Advocates for Children & Families, will take place on March 2 from 4-7 p.m. at The Venue at Westwind with a variety of different soups to sip, plus music and fun auction items. As the beloved fundraiser marks its 44th year, Madere Toure and Pap Dior of AfroBites are the event’s featured chefs, while Dr. Gene Lu and Kevin Shalin will serve as co-chairs.
As always, guests are invited to bring their own muffin tins to help corral their soup samples, but it’s not a requirement for entry.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the AACF’s work to “ensure that all children and their families have the resources and opportunities to lead healthy and productive lives and to realize their full potential.”
Tickets are now available for purchase. To purchase yours, call 501.371.9678 or head to the AACF website. For updates, follow along on Facebook, X and Instagram.
